Just to let you know that we had a fabulous 5 days descending the Spey all the way to the sea. I just can’t help telling everybody what a fantastic experience the whole trip was. Compliments both to you and Jude for looking after us and feeding us so well.

I look forward to doing the whole thing again in the future.

'The River Spey Descent was a fantastic experience and one that should be tried if you ever get the opportunity, the scenery and tranquility has to be experienced to be believed.
I had never paddled a boat before, but this did not prove to be a problem because of the excellent tutoring given by David, he is also very patient if you make any mistakes.
The hospitality you experience at The Beeches is absolutely fantastic and is real value for money. Whilst on the water David provides all the food and believe me you will not go hungry - some of the meals he cooked on the two stoves was unbelievable. I recommend a final night at The Beeches to have a warm shower and some more of Jude's lovely cooking.
All the kit that David provides is a very high standard and I encourage anyone who has any questions before they go to contact him and ask. The trip from arriving at the Beeches to going home was nothing but a pleasure, Dave and Jude make you very welcome.
The cost of the trip is very reasonable for what you get, we are already thinking of going again next year. If you are in any doubt about booking a trip - go for it - you will not regret it
